(More customer reviews)There is not one thing I like about these strings. I bought them because I thought the gold color would compliment the gold hardware on my bass. Unfortunately the coating does the opposite of what it is intended to do. The strings feel tacky and rubbery under my plucking hand fingers and the tone is muffled, especially on the lower strings. Much like it would be on a dirty, old, corroded, dead string. The tension is very uneven string to string, with the higher strings being very tight and the lower strings very loose. Worst $45 investment I have ever made. So very sorry I ever strayed away from my DR strings. No wonder none of the major online retailers sell these strings. I really wish I could return them. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
