(More customer reviews)The strap is a good idea to keep an extra pick or two handy and close-by. The green picks that come with it are very thin and loose. They might work O.K. for a Classical Acoustic guitar, but for steel string, I prefer a medium. I beleive these would be rated an Extra Light. I've seen notebook covers with thicker material.
