The pad is comfortable, and it has a little loop attached to the right side for keeping your pick-up cord out of the way, if you choose to electrify - nice touch. My Levy bass guitar strap is 15 years old and it still looks great, stitching tight, no cracking on the leather. You pay more for a Levy, but, in the long run, I think it's a bargain.
